Saga Sisterhood is a transformative performance project by women who identify as South Asian and who hail from non-performer backgrounds. All have something to say about love, friendship, belonging, family and identity. The project emerged from a creative development at The Centre for Stories led by Sukhjit Kaur Khalsa with the valuable storytelling training of Sisonke Msimang and directing from Shirley Van Sanden. Mapping Melbourne will feature: Nisha D’cruz, Amarjit Kaur, Maya Rose, Manjusha and Aarti Jadu.
