Pussy Willow Power Collective: Kat Rae, DreY Willows and Chiara Zeta

EXHIBITION OPEN: Monday - Friday 9AM-5PM 14 May - 6 June 2025

Pussy Willow Power Collective’s exhibition riffs off the feminist catchphrase, “The Personal is Political” to present a range of responses which sensitively protest the stubborn problem of patriarchal violence.

Each woman in Pussy Willow Power Collective draws on her lived experience of complex trauma, creating an empathic dialogue between the artists and their works.

As print-informed artists we embrace the history of feminist dissent and the public nature of the exhibition space to present a range of works which utilise the power of repetition and text as activist tools.

WORKSHOP - Sunday 25 May 11AM-2PM:

Pussy Willow Power Collective and Troppo Print Studio are hosting a joint protest poster-making workshop in the tradition of art collectives and generations of feminists before us. Using collage techniques, simple stencils, freehand mark-making and screen printing, participants will be guided in the creation of a group poster. The group poster will be hung in solidarity within QVWC for the remaining week of the exhibition.
