International Women's Day - Photography Exhibition
Photography Studies College (Melbourne) and the Queen Victoria Women’s Centre are delighted to present an International Women’s Day photography exhibition featuring work by female students and graduates that celebrates their distinctive stories and vision.
Photography is one of many industries that has long been considered to be male-dominated. The Photography Studies College (Melbourne) has consistently bucked that trend, with the majority of our students being female.
The images featured in this show reflect hours and weeks of work, careful thought, refinement and
sometimes life changing experiences. Whatever the creative content however, the emotive strength of the image is constant and the power of photography on display.
This exhibition features the work of Mary Leon, Agata Mayes, Alysha Jakobi, Charlotte Vignau, Hannah Nikkelson, Sally Kaack, Ana Burenkova, Elli Bardas, Allison Rose, Cuc Chong and Kayla De Saint Aromain.
