Mazeena is our longest-serving staff member and our "go to" when things need fixing or sorting out. She is passionate about the Centre’s heritage; both its rich history and the building itself. She is very happy working with the new team to implement our strategic plan and recently oversaw the successful renovation of the building and the lift. She loves working to bring women from all walks of life together in our space to share knowledge and stories. In her spare time, Mazeena loves organising community events and spending time with her daughters.
Peggy has had a broad career spanning the radio, entertainment and not-for-profit sectors. She is passionate about helping people from all walks of life and is inspired by the brave women she has encountered over the years, particularly during her time in the QVWC office and at Fitted for Work. One of the (young) women who most inspires her is her granddaughter – they share lots of laughs! Peggy also admits to being a petrol head, and says that watching a car in the pits is a lesson in absolute teamwork.
Naomi is inspired to honour the women in the Centre’s history and to build and innovate for the women (their friends and families) of the present and future. Naomi priotises bringing beauty into our Centre as well as challenging and meaningful ideas and experiences.
