EXHIBITION SPACE

The Exhibition Space provides an opportunity for artists to exhibit and sell their work. With white walls and parquetry floorboards, it is an attractive, light-filled gallery located on the ground floor of the Queen Victoria Women’s Centre. The Exhibition Space features exhibitions and artworks made by artists who identify as women, or group exhibitions of artworks made predominantly by artists who identify as women. The space is open to the general public and aims to showcase the range and diversity of women artists working in Victoria.

We are currently seeking expressions of interest from artists who wish to show their work in the Exhibition Space. There is no charge to exhibit in the Exhibition Space and artists may offer their work for sale; the space is also open to the general public for viewing and purchase. Artists are responsible for the installation and removal of their works and promoting their exhibitions, but are not required to “sit” their exhibitions.

The Exhibition Space is open to the public from 8:30am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday, except for public holidays. Access at other hours may be available by separate arrangement.

Please download and complete the application form to apply.
