Note to Herself - Get Involved!
The Note to Herself community art project invites women to express that thing in their lives over which you want to take control - from your heart to your health to your sock drawer - by painting, collaging, drawing (whatever!) a postcard-sized artwork. Once you've expressed yourself, lick that stamp and send it in to us.
Postcards will become a part of the major exhibition at the Note to Herself Gallery, part of our International Women's Day celebrations at QVWC.

Over 10,000 Note to Herself postcards have been distributed in galleries, cafes and museums throughout Melbourne. Or you can request postcards by contacting QVWC. Pick yours up today and express yourself!
Then, make sure to make time to visit the Note to Herself Gallery, 18-22 Artemis Lane, QV (near the corner of Lt Lonsdale and Russell Streets) to view the postcards we've received.
On International Women's Day (Thursday, 8 March), join us at the Note to Herself Gallery for music, entertainment, a glass of wine and a celebration of the exhibition you've created!

The wickedly funny Nelly Thomas will MC our International Women's Day celebration.
Performances by Ladies Luv Hip Hop and our fabulous MC, Comedienne Nelly Thomas...and more!

MC Que of Ladies Luv Hip Hop will perform at the Note to Herself Gallery.
Bring your girlfriends and make an evening of it. It's only Women's Day once a year!
