BreaCan - Gynaecological and Breast Cancer Support

BreaCan is a free and confidential information, support and referral service for people with gynaecological or breast cancer, their families and friends.

  • Since 2003, BreaCan has served women with breast cancer, and from May 2007, BreaCan welcomes women with gynaecological cancers.

  • BreaCan offers a resource centre which provides a comfortable, safe environment within which individuals can browse through up-to-date resources and information. The resource centre opening hours are Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 10.00am - 2.00pm.

  • BreaCan provides a service where people can talk to a trained volunteer who has experienced breast cancer, or cared for someone who has.

  • BreaCan runs fortnightly information sessions with special guest speakers covering a diverse range of topics, as well as the free Feel Good gentle exercise program.

CASA House

CASA House (Centre Against Sexual Assault) is part of the Royal Women's Hospital, Carlton, Victoria. It is a government funded organisation which provides free and confidential services to victim/survivors of sexual assault on a 24 hour basis. Services include an immediate crisis response to recent assaults; counselling, support & advocacy; groups; support for families; professional consultations; community education and research & public policy.
