Family violence support - crisis housing service for culturally and linguistically diverse women

Women's Health West (WHW) hosts a crisis housing service for culturally and linguistically diverse women and children in the Western region who are experiencing domestic violence/family violence. It provides services including safe housing, emotional support and counselling. Interpreters are also available and the service may be able to direct you to services in your native language.

Sometimes, people who use violence can be very controlling. For example, they might check up on what you are doing on your computer or who you are emailing. If you are experiencing violence and you share a computer with someone who may become violent towards you, it is important that you learn how to use your Internet and email safely. This information sheet provides tips for women experiencing violence on how to protect your privacy and erase your tracks when using the Internet and email.

Social Group for Women in Melbourne's West

Sunrise Women with Disabilities Group offers women with disabilities, living in Melbourne's Outer West the opportunity to socialise, learn new skills and go on excursions. The group is part of Women's Health West, which brings women together to support and strengthen each other, advancing women's health, safety and wellbeing.
