The Queen Victoria Women’s Centre: loved for its heritage, recognised for its excellence; used and valued by the women of Victoria and beyond.
Respecting the diversity of women, the Queen Victoria Women’s Centre provides access to information, education and recreation in a supporting environment which encourages enterprise and independence for all women, by women.
We draw our inspiration from the founding women who established the Queen Victoria Hospital and the women who fought to save the building and establish the QVWC.
We are committed to the ongoing struggle for gender equality in all aspects of society.
We are open, honest and considerate in our relationships and professional and transparent in our actions and decisions.
We are mindful of the diversity of the needs, aspirations and beliefs of women and others with whom we engage.
